SUMMARY:BOUNDARIES
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Yearning the unbeautiful After Tour Europe 2027=0D=0A=0D=0A Boundaries know exactl
y what they want to do\, how they want to sound\, and where they want to go.
Disregarding trends\, fads\, and whatever the flavor-of-the-month may be\, the
band hyper-focus on a full-scale sensory onslaught of their own design. Th
ey stretch their sound almost to a breaking point\, reining in fits of polyr
hythmic bloodletting with a respite of powerful and poignant melodies. =0D=0A
For as extreme as the sonic dynamics are\, it=E2=80=99s the extremity of th
e group=E2=80=99s intent that makes their signature style dangerous and utt
erly alive. =0D=0A A clear sense of purpose drives the Connecticut quintet=E2
=80=94Matthew McDougal [vocals]\, Cory Emond [guitar]\, Tim Sullivan [drummer
 \, vocals]\, Nathan Calcagno [bass\, vocals]\, and Cody DelVecchio [guitar]=E2
=80=94and defines their fourth full-length LP and Sumerian Records debut\, Y
earning: the unbeautiful after. =0D=0A =E2=80=9CWith the record\, we aimed to
be uncompromising and really plant our flag\,=E2=80=9D Matthew states. =E2
=80=9CAs more time passes\, heavy music continues to lose its teeth. This ge
nre is supposed to be threatening\; it should have an edge and make you feel
something. We tried to create an album with urgency. If we did anything co
rrectly\, it will speak for itself.=E2=80=9D =0D=0A =E2=80=9CWe did exactly wh
at we wanted to do\,=E2=80=9D affirms Cory. =E2=80=9CYou could say we pushed
everything in both directions\, but we were simply being who we are as a ba
nd.=E2=80=9D =0D=0A From day one forward\, the group have stuck to their guns.
In fact\, they=E2=80=99ve only grown more resolute over the course of Hartf
ord County Misery[2017]\, Your Receding Warmth [2020]\, Burying Brightness [2
022]\, and Death Is Little More [2024]. The latter incited the applause of K
NOTFEST\, MetalSucks\, and New Noise Magazine who crowned it =E2=80=9Ctheir b
est yet and a clear front-runner for AOTY.=E2=80=9D Additionally\, Death Is
Little More tallied tens of millions of streams fueled by =E2=80=9CEasily E
 rased\,=E2=80=9D =E2=80=9CScars On A Soul\,=E2=80=9D and =E2=80=9CDarkness Sh
 ared.=E2=80=9D Emerging as a force of nature on the road\, they=E2=80=99ve c
anvased North America with A Day To Remember\, The Plot In You\, and Dying Wi
sh\, in addition to packing headline shows. Signing to Sumerian Records\, the
band launched their next chapter. Given the positive response to Death Is
Little More\, they spent more time on the road between albums than ever. The
y also hit the studio with GRAMMY=C2=AE Award-nominated producer Drew Fulk
[Knocked Loose\, Make Them Suffer] for the first time. Decamping to Los Ange
les\, they crafted Yearning: the unbeautiful after in the fall of 2025. =0D=0A
=E2=80=9CWe did our last three records with Randy LeBoeuf\, and it was natu
ral to the point of being a well-oiled machine\,=E2=80=9D Cory notes. =E2=80
=9CWe had never met Drew before. We hadn=E2=80=99t gone through any growing
pains with a producer in over six years. We wanted to see if we could mesh
with him. It took a few weeks\, but when he =E2=80=98got it=E2=80=99\, we lo
cked in and really understood each other. Throughout the process\, Drew said
\, =E2=80=98I don=E2=80=99t know many bands who can go as heavy as you go an
d as soft as you go=E2=80=99. That dichotomy had appealed to him\, because m
ost bands pick a lane without venturing into both aspects.=E2=80=9D =0D=0A Bo

d in time with chugging detuned guitars and pummeling drums. A palm-muted r
iff\, pick scrapes\, jittery cymbals\, and ominous squeals up the intensity. O
 n the bridge\, the frontman=E2=80=99s whispers explode into a final scream\,
