Candace Carter, born 1951 in Indiana, USA, left the States at the age of nineteen to live in Germany. She studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg. Carter lives and works in Karlsruhe as a painter, writer, performance artist, YouTuber and podcaster. We save the World is Part 1 of her Trilogy New News from the West.
